Not
much remains of this 1/2 ton Ambulance. The Ambulance body was made for
Dodge by the Wayne Works. Ambulances were the only WW2 Dodge trucks that
were manufactured with heaters. Thick sheets of corrugated cardboard were
used as insulation in the body walls. This would get wet after the roofs
started Leaking and would cause many Ambulances to rot quickly.
