Ouch!
With only a driver's side mirror, the right side of WW2 Dodge trucks was
essentially blind to the driver. Backing up safely was literally a hit
or miss operation. Many of these trucks have just this sort of damage.
The Telephone Maintenance body was a commercially available product adapted
to the military 3/4 ton truck. Only 549 of these special purpose trucks
were made with an unknown number surviving today.
